  It’s not every day that you are presented with the option of going to visit a rainforest, but for Washington locals – you have the ability. Hoh Rainforest is located on the Olympic Peninsula in western Washington State and it is absolutely stunning. If you’ve never been, you will have to make a day trip of it and enjoy your beautiful surroundings as well as learn a bit about the history of the rainforest.
• Gas Works Park
  This park is one of Washington’s most well-known parks and it is truly amazing. This park is located on the site of a former Seattle Gas Light Company and now it just makes for the perfect picnic spot. Come check it out and enjoy the beautiful views!
